About

Do you want to spend school holidays riding awesome trails AND improve your skills at the same time? I'm here to bring my elite level Gravity Enduro racing experience to Bikes On Holidays to show you how to navigate enduro trails more confidently in a safe, fun and supportive small-group environment. The school holiday sessions are designed to enable kids aged 12 - 16 (riding at an intermediate level) to develop confidence and creativity in their mountain biking - covering skills like body position, braking and line choice - while tackling fun and challenging trails. Unlike other school holiday programs, group sizes are capped at six to allow for plenty of time for 1:1 feedback, ensuring kids get the most out of their session. Key Details: Monday 7 Apr 2025 - Warburton/Wesburn // 10AM - 1PM With the Wesburn Pump Track and Hey Hey My My in close proximity to each other, there is plenty of choice for mountain biking. Starting and finishing at Wesburn Park. Tuesday 8 Apr 2025 - Silvan MTB Park // 10 am - 1pm Silvan is full of variety and full of fun! Lots of technical riding with some tight twisty corners, and plenty of roots, drops and jumps - all of which is great for progression and most importantly super fun to ride. Wednesday 9 Apr & Wednesday 16 April 2025 - Buxton MTB Park // 10am - 1pm Buxton MTB Park has a great looping network of purpose-built singletrack, with plenty of options for different skill levels. Gentle climbs, super fun features and the stand-out Cathedral jump trail! Thursday 16 April 2025 - Lysterfield MTB Park // 10am - 1pm Please ensure each child has the following for each session: - A safe and working off-road bicycle - it does not need to be fancy, just in good working order. Please don't hesitate to contact me prior to sessions for advice on this. MTBs are encouraged but not mandatory. - A well fitted, good quality helmet that complies with Australian Standards. - A water bottle or backpack bladder. - Spare tube and multi-tool (I will be carrying a select spares kit should extra spares be required). - Snacks for mid-ride snack break. Parents/Guardians: - Please ensure you have read, understand and agreed to the Terms and Conditions on behalf of your child - Please read my Privacy Policy and Child Safety and Wellbeing policy - Please bring any specific medications your child may need e.g. Ventolin, Epipen, glucose supplements.
